A pair of bantamweight prospects will meet in Brazil as MMA Junkie reported Justin Scoggins is targeted to take on Pedro Munhoz at UFC Fight Night 95, in the country’s capital of Brasilia.
After six flyweight bouts in the Octagon, Justin Scoggins (11-2) left the division when he was unable to make weight to face Ian McCall in his last outing at UFC 201. Scoggins enters the bantamweight division riding a two-fight winning streak with victories over the likes of Ray Borg and Josh Sampo.
Munhoz (12-2, 1 NC) will try to get his first win streak going as he meets Scoggins after a submission win over Russell Doane in July. Before that, he suffered a split decision loss to Jimmie Rivera.
UFC Fight Night 95 is scheduled to take place on September 24, in Brasilia, Brazil. The card will be headlined by a female featherweight fight between Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino and Lina Lansberg.
