After 10 months of absence, the WBC lightweight world champion, Delfine Persoon, returns to the ring to fight Myriam Dellal.
Delfine who is completely recovered from her hand injuries, claimed that time off, will not be a hampering factor, because despite being in rehabilitation, she never stopped training.
Persoon had not fought since December 25 last year when she faced Everline Odero. She won the WBC light crown by defeating the tough and talented Argentine, Erica Farias, by unanimous decision on April 2, 2014. Since then she has made five successful defenses.
Delfine Persoon has an impressive record of 38 victories with 16 KO’s and 1 loss. While her rival, Myriam Dellal, has a professional record of 15 wins with 2 KO’s and 5 losses.
