In the scheduled six-round main event at the Grundy Arena in Bristol, PA, Chazz Witherspoon (35-3, 27 KOs) easily stopped Michael Marrone (21-6, 15 KOs) in their heavyweight contest. Witherspoon dropped Marrone twice in the first round, but ran out of time to finish the job.

However, Chazz managed to finish off Marrone midway through the next round. A left-right combination sent Marrone to the canvas for a third time. He did get up and referee Hurley McCall allowed him to continue. However after a few more seconds, Marrone’s corner asked the ringside doctor to stop the fight. He stepped up on the ring apron and waved the white towel. Referee McCall immediately called an end of the bout at 1:31 of round two.

In the co-feature, jr welterweight Emanuel “Tranzformer” Taylor (20-4, 13 KOs) scored a second round KO over Carlos Aguilera (10-18, 4 KOs) in a scheduled eight-rounder.
