One of the greatest icons of Boxing, adored by so many, Cuban naturalized Mexican José Ángel “Mantequilla” Napoles, was an immensely popular guest at the Presentation of Academia CONADE in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.
This program is traveling through Mexico seeking out the next stars of boxing via trials.
Napoles was born on April 13, 1940 in Santiago de Cuba. He was the greatly admired world welterweight champion of the World Boxing Council. He fought 88 bouts, of which he won 81….54 of them by knockout.
Mantequilla Napoles, has been living in Ciudad Juarez for many years, but is now in and around Mexico City.
