Panamanian Gilberto “Cacique” Pedroza contests the World Boxing Council light flyweight crown against champion Ken Shiro, on December 30th at the Bunka Gym, in Yokohama, Japan.
“Cacique” earned his chance defeating Mexican Saul “Baby” Juarez in Haiti. While Ken, defending his crown, winning a close fight against former champion, Pedro Guevara.
“I’m happy and very motivated, preparing very well, because my great dream is to be a WBC world champion,” says Gilberto.
He praised Ken, as an excellent champion, but promises to return to Panama with the green and gold belt.
The world champion is also 25 years old, with an unbeaten record of 11 wins with five knockouts.
