HISTORIC WBC OFFICIALS MEETING IN WASHINGTON

Boxing history has being made in the very  heart of the Capitol City of the USA, Washington D.C.  which for the very first time has  staged a formal meeting of the recently created Committee of WBC Officials, led by Hawaiian Hubert Minn, with the initiative and support of WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman Saldivar.
The Committee met at the impressive Washington Court Hotel, which is also hosting the prestigious North American Boxing Federation Convention.
The main focus and principal aim,  is the meticulous evaluation, modification and actualization of the WBC Ring Officials Manual, which has been purposefully used for a decade.   Among the WBC Officials Committee attending are the WBC American judges, Steve Morrow, Barry Lindenman, Glen Crocker and Michael Tate, WBC Canadian judges Len Koivisto, David Birk and Craig Metcalf,  American supervisor, Bob Yalen,  Mexican Judge Alejandro Rochin,  Mexican Referee, Guadalupe Garcia plus leading WBC member and commissioner Juan Carlos Manzano from Mexico.
The WBC Officials Committee  is diligently working towards presenting a detailed recommendation to the WBC Board of Governors and President Sulaiman, during the next annual WBC Convention, this  December in Broward, Florida.
