Floyd Mayweather Jr is visiting Panama, as part of his new vocation as a Promoter.
Mayweather retired from the sport as Best Pound For Pound after ably winning his 49 victory in September 2015. The same mark as the formidable Rocky Marciano.
During a press conference, Floyd, who’s a youthful 39, confirmed he’ll be representing Carlos Zambrano.
He revealed he has been carefully, watching, scrutinizing and assessing several fighters from the island. Next stop Brazil.
During a press conference at the Casco Antiguo in the Capital City, Floyd Mayweather more than broadly hinted, that this Is now the time of new fighters and his singular, multiple contribution to the Sport, is already a matter of fact.
With the help of the model and translator Liza Hernández, Floyd lauded the legendary Panamnian fighter, Roberto “Hands of Stone“ Duran.
He stressingly recalled that Roberto opened the path for him and he’ll forever honor Roberto.
