Originally scheduled to take on Jake Collier at the UFC Orlando card on Feb. 24, Marcin Prachnio needs a new opponent after “The Prototype” was forced out of the card due to an injury that might require surgery, sources told MMA Fighting.
The promotion is currently looking for a new opponent for Prachnio.
Collier (11-4), a former RFA middleweight champion, has bounced between wins and losses since signing with the UFC in 2014. He’s 1-1 since moving up to light heavyweight, defeatingMarcel Fortuna in his last fight in November.
Prachnio (13-2) will make his Octagon debut after racking up a perfect 4-0 record with three knockouts inside the ONE Championship cage, competing at middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. Prachnio has won his last eight fights.
UFC on FOX 28 will take place at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The company has yet to announce which bout headlines the card.
