Two UFC lightweights will put their winning streaks on the line in March.
On Tuesday, it was officially announced that Rustam Khabilov (22-3) will fight Kajan Johnson(22-12-1) in a lightweight bout at UFC London. The bout was first reported by MMA journalistFarah Hannoun.
Both men will be looking to get 2018 off to a positive start after fighting just once last year. Khabilov won a unanimous decision over Desmond Green at UFC Rotterdam on Sept. 2, while Johnson picked up a come-from-behind knockout win against Adriano Martins at UFC 215 on Sept. 9.
For Johnson, it was his first fight in almost two years and his third consecutive win overall since losing his UFC debut.
Khabilov will also be looking to keep an unbeaten run going as he has won his last five fights, all by unanimous decision. “Tiger” sports an 8-2 record inside the Octagon, which includes victories over Jorge Masvidal and Yancy Medeiros, both back in 2013.
UFC Fight Night 127 takes place at The O2 Arena in London, England on March 17.
