Husein Kushagov put an exclamation point on a confident display in his ACB 79 middleweight clash against Poland’s Michal Wiencek Saturday in Grozny.
Despite him coming into the bout off a loss to Adam Townsend at ACB 70, the powerful Russian looked composed and confident as he marched forward and fed Wiencek his powerful right hand.
In the dying embers of the first round, he landed a soul-snatching body shot that buckled his opponent, which forced referee Herb Dean to step in and stop the action.
