Bellator have signed BAMMA lightweight champion Ryan Scope.
The promotion confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Thursday morning.
Scope (11-1) is coming off his title-winning split decision victory over UFC veteran, Mickael Lebout, in the main event of BAMMA 33 in December.
Scope is considered a hot prospect on the UK scene and collected a record of 10-0 before he suffered his first professional loss to Welsh standout, Lewis Long, in a welterweight contest at M4TC: Carnage.
As well as his victory over Lebout, “Big Baby” has notable wins over experienced Iranian campaigner, Ali Arish, and Russian prospect, Yusup Umarov.
Bellator hope to announce Scope’s debut under the banner in the coming weeks.
