Heavyweight Dillian Whyte (23-1, 17 KOs) put on a dominant performance over a hapless Lucas Browne (25-1, 22 KOs) this evening, hitting him with everything from the opening bell and having Browne cut over his left eye by the end of the first round.
Whyte would continue his assault for the next five rounds, hitting Browne to the head and body with frightening regularity, with Browne unable to block anything of significance. It was one of the worst defensive performances I’ve ever seen. Ever. By the fifth round Browne’s face looked like a crushed tomato, with blood badly impairing his vision
Then early in 6th round Whyte jumped on Browne some more, throwing another combination that ended with a huge left hand that slumped Browne, leaving him face down in that mat, motionless. Browne would be asleep for several minutes before finally coming to, needing an oxygen mask from the medics.
Here’s a clip of how the fight ended:

Final CompuBox stats had Whyte landing 109 of 269 (40.5%) total punches, with Browne landing only 36 of 172 (20.9%).
In the post fight interview Whyte screamed for a fight with Deontay Wilder, also saying he would love a rematch with Anthony Joshua.
