As Jessie Vargas prepares for his upcoming fight with Adrien Broner, scheduled for April 21 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Fight Hub TV is able to catch some footage of Vargas in training camp.
Vargas (28-2, 10 KOs) is looking like he’s in good form and ready to put on a show next weekend as he is coming off a unanimous decision win over Aaron Herrera in December, one fight removed from his loss to Manny Pacquiao in late 2016.
Meanwhile Broner (33-3, 24 KOs) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Mikey Garcia last July. He’s once again in a position of wanting to prove the naysayers wrong about what he has to offer at the top level of boxing, basically admitting he’s his own worst enemy.
But in this fight Broner will have a tough task in front of him. Vargas is not an easy out for anybody — just ask Timothy Bradley — and he’s talented and motivated enough to run Broner out of the building if he doesn’t come prepared to let his hands go.
