Fedor Emelianenko is back and he has punched his ticket through to the next round of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix.
Saturday night at Bellator 198 in Rosemont, Illinois, Emelianenko made quick work of Frank Mir, turning back the clock and turning out Mir’s lights just 48 seconds into the first round. The win was Fedor’s first in the Bellator cage and sets him up for a Grand Prix semifinal bout againstChael Sonnen later this year.
Check out the pro’s reactions to the return of “The Last Emperor” as well as the slew of quick submissions on the rest of the card, including the MMA debut of BJJ star Dillon Danis.
