UD FOR MEASURED BARBY

A relatively easy fourth defence  of  her World Boxing Council female bantamweight title for Mariana “Barby” Juarez,  (98-93, 98-92 and 99-91) over Costa Rican Carolina Arias.

It was top of The Bill  organized Promociones del Pueblo in the Miguel Hidalgo Gym, Puebla, Mexico.

Crunching the numbers, smart  fighting Mariana,  was quickly  able  to decipher her significantly shorter opponent’s technique, keeping it at distance, with speed and precision marksmanship.

At the end of the fourth round, the three partial cards favored the “Barby”: 39-37, 39-37 and 40-36. After eight rounds, the scores had widened to: 79-73, 78-74 and 79-73.

The champion 49-9, 18 Ko’s  closed intelligently, with good solid  technique, comprehensively outboxing  a brave visitor 14-3, 7 KOs.
