Invicta fight week got started with a late change.
With Yaya Rincon having to withdraw, Sarah Kleczka will step in to face Lisa Spangler in a bantamweight bout at Invicta FC 29 on Friday in Kansas City, Mo., the promotion announced Monday. The card will now move forward with eight total fights.
Kleczka (2-0) made her pro debut by defeating Amber Lynn Orr at Invicta 25 last August. Spangler (0-0) will make her debut on the card after going 9-1 as an amateur.
In the main event of Invicta FC 29, former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman will take on Katharina Lehner for the vacant Invicta bantamweight title.
