Eddie Hearn to announce major U.S. deal that will make Matchroom “unrivaled”

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn has been pretty giddy this week as he alludes to a major deal he’s on the verge of announcing next week in the U.S.

In an interview with FightHype, the U.K. promoter spoke a little about what this impending announcment will mean for his promotional company.

“It’s to announce a U.S. deal. Yeah. That’s why we’re doing it in New York…It’s a major moment for us.

“Unrivaled…like obviously we’ve got an amazing stable in the U.K., now we’re gonna build an amazing stable in the U.S. Put the two together it will be a stable like no one has ever seen.

“It’s exciting, and it gives us the chance to do something incredible. We’re blessed to have done it and I’m looking forward to next Thursday. Huge amount of work, huge amount of work, but we’ve built a team around it and recruited around the new deal and we’re all ready. We’re all ready to go.”
