A fighter best known for his alleged role in Conor McGregor’s van assault in Brooklyn has his next pro fight booked.

SBG welterweight Cian Cowley will compete at Brave 13 in Belfast on June 9. MMA Fighting confirmed an initial report by MMAUK.net.

Cowley was part of a large contingent which joined McGregor in his attack on the red corner fighters’ van following the UFC 223 media day at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 5. Cowley was charged with one count of criminal mischief and is due to return to a New York courtroom in June. Cowley, along with McGregor, will have their next court date in New York on June 14.

Cowley will meet Daniel Olejniczak (1-1) of Poland on the card. Cowley has an 0-1 pro record and was 3-1 as an amateur.

Another name of note on the Belfast card is Norman Parke (24-6-1, 1 NC). The former TUF: Smashes winner meets Myles Price (9-6) at the June 9 event.
