In an interview with Sky Sports, Tony Bellew says he would look forward to a prospective bout with Tyson Fury while disregarding Fury’s claims that he’s too small to get in the ring with him. Bellew finds that ironic considering the massive size disparity in the ring with Fury’s last opponent.
“I would love it,” Bellew told Sky Sports. “People tell me that he said I’m too small, yet he gets in with a guy three inches smaller than me, and about a stone lighter.
“I’m not too sure what he actually means when he says too small. Right now, I’ll be honest, Tyson Fury isn’t really ready for me. I would stop Tyson Fury quicker than I stopped David Haye. There’s no two ways about it.”
Bellew goes on to encourage Fury to reach out to promoter Eddie Hearn if he needs a marketable fight as he’d be amendable to the idea. Bellew thinks the potential clash would sell out any stadium in the U.K.
Would any of you put money on Bellew taking out Fury?
