GGG honored by The Ring Magazine

World Boxing Council middleweight champion  Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs), was honored at the “Palm” restaurant in Los Angeles, by the “Ring Magazine,”presenting  him with the symbolic belt, from the very hands of his Editor Doug Fischer.

Gennady said: “I am very happy to receive this gift from Ring Magazine and that we were able to reach an agreement to do the rematch with Saul Canelo Alvarez.  This is the fight that everyone wants to see and we’re going to do it.”

Gennnady is expected to begin his intense preparation phase for the rematch against former world champion, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, at  the beginning of July, astutely guided by his coach, Abel Sánchez.
