Congolese fighter Ilunga Makabu stopped Gabonese Taylor Mabika in four rounds on Saturday at the Grand Hotel in Kinshasa, Congo.
Mabika started the combat strong and fast, throwing powerful combinations. He used his greater experience to dominate Mabika, obliging his corner to throw in the towel in the fourth round.
With this victory Makabu was crowned World Boxing Council International Cruiserweight Champion.
He improves his record to 22 wins with 21 knockouts and only two defeats. While Taylor slips to 19 wins and 3 losses.
