Mike Perry calls Donald Cerrone ‘oblivious,’ plans to ‘kill’ him at UFC Denver

By Bloodyelbow.com

UFC welterweight Mike Perry didn’t take kindly to Donald Cerrone’s recent words regarding his long-time gym, Jackson-Wink MMA.

The trash talk between Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry has officially begun — on one side of the welterweight pairing, anyway.

Perry had some choice words for “Cowboy” in a series of tweets he published Thursday night. Perry, who recently joined Albuquerque’s Jackson-Wink MMA, responded to Cerrone’s criticism of the gym, at which he trained for years.

On Wednesday, Cerrone blasted head coach Mike Winkeljohn in an interview on Joe Rogan’s JRE MMA Show, saying he wasn’t loyal and just worried about money. Cerrone said he decided to train Perry, not Cerrone, for their upcoming fight, because “Platinum” paid more. Cerrone also said Winkeljohn’s style of coaching was very one dimensional.

Perry seemingly took offense to Cerrone’s comments and said he plans to “kill” Cerrone when they square off at UFC Denver on Nov. 10.

“Idk why [Cerrone] is acting like we ain’t in this sh-t about the money,” Perry wrote. “He’s oblivious because he always had money. I’m a broke hungry f-ckin lion and I’m glad you didn’t die in the scuba dive so I can kill you in the #Octagon. ima give you that Spartan #BeautifulDeath.

“Cuz you deserve it brotha.”
