British duo James Mulheron and Alfie Davis have become the latest European fighters to sign on the dotted line for Bellator.

Bellator confirmed the signings to MMA Fighting.

Mulheron (11-2-0) came up short in his last outing, his UFC debut, where he lost a unanimous decision to now-ranked heavyweight, Justin Willis, at UFC Glasgow.

“Juggernaut” was booked to meet Cyril Asker at UFC Shanghai later that year, but was pulled from the event when he was flagged by USADA for a failed test. Mulheron vehemently denied the violation that saw him banned for a year. He will be eligible for a return in November 2018 havingaccepted a one-year ban from USADA.

Mulheron was signed by the UFC on the back of his heavyweight title winning run with British promotion M4TC. Six of his 11 wins have come by way of TKO or knockout.

Davis (10-2-0) fights out of London Shootfighters and has earned a reputation on the U.K. scene for his striking ability. He has claimed five wins by way KO or TKO and submitted three of his opponents — only two of his victories have come by way of decision.

The British welterweight is already booked to compete at KSW 45 in London on Oct. 6 against Leszek Krakowski, but his future is committed to Bellator.

Davis made his Bellator debut last year, seeing Jay Dods off in the first round of their welterweight clash with a first round body kick.

Bellator have signed nearly 40 European fighters over the last two months, but have yet to announce a launch date for the promotion’s all-new localized agenda for the U.K., Ireland and Western Europe.
