Undefeated heavyweight prospect Greg Hardy will return to the cage on Sept. 29 in a UFC Fight Pass-streamed bout.
The former NFL Pro Bowl selection will face face Ray Jones (1-1) on Xtreme Fight Night 352 in Tulsa. MMA Fighting confirmed an initial Wednesday report by MMAJunkie.
Hardy (2-0) was signed to a developmental deal by the UFC after defeating Austen Lane in under a minute on the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series in June, then defeated Tebaris Gordon in 17 seconds on Contender Series in July. Including his three amateur bouts, the American Top Team prospect has won all five of his MMA fights via first-round knockout.
“I’m excited to be back,” Hardy said. “I’ve been patiently waiting to get back in the cage. I love this; if I could fight every month I’d be even happier. I’m really enjoying the process of understanding the game. I’ve been cleaning some things up so I can finish fights even faster. Tune in and watch me get my hand raised again.”
Hardy’s fight comes on a busy day for UFC Fight Pass, which will also stream events by GLORY, Cage Warriors, and the Eddie Bravo Invitational.
