The lightweight title rematch is finally a go.

Bellator champion Brent Primus will defend his title for the first time against former titleholder Michael Chandler at Bellator 210 on Dec. 14, ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported Tuesday night.FanSided’s Mike Heck first reported the fight was a done deal last week.

The location and venue for Bellator 210 has not yet been determined.

Primus has not fought since his June 2017 title challenge against then-champ Chandler, which resulted in a first-round TKO win. Primus was expected to face Chandler for the second time this past April, but he suffered a knee injury in March. He delayed his first title defense last year due to the birth of his first daughter.

Chandler has won two straight since losing his belt in shocking fashion last year. Most recently, he submitted Brandon Girtz at the same show at which he was supposed to rematch Primus. Before that, he dominated Goiti Yamauchi en route to a decision win.

Primus vs. Chandler 2 will likely headline the card, which precedes Bellator’s Hawaii debut by one day.
