Bellator MMA has added an intriguing undefeated fighter to its ranks.
Fabian Edwards, whose brother Leon is a top-ranked welterweight in the UFC, was announced as the latest signing to Bellator’s middleweight ranks on Saturday’s Bellator 208 broadcast. The 28-year-old is 5-0 as professional competing primarily for England’s BAMMA promotion, though he actually made his pro debut at a Bellator event in London back in May 2017.
In his most recent fight, Edwards defeated Claudio Conti via a body kick KO inside of a round. He told MMA Fighting’s Petesy Carroll this past August that he had one BAMMA bout remaining on his contract, but it appears that the path was cleared for him to make the jump into the Bellator cage.
No date or opponent was announced for Edwards’s debut.
