The Liddell vs. Ortiz 3 fight card from Golden Boy Promotions is set.
While former UFC champions Chuck Liddell (21-8) and Tito Ortiz (19-12-1) will carry the event when they headline in a trilogy bout at the Nov. 24 show at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., several other cagefighting veterans are scheduled to take part in the show, according to a press release Monday from Golden Boy Promotions.
A previously reported 160-pound catchweight bout between UFC veterans Gleison Tibau (33-14) and Efrain Escudero (30-13) will take place on the pay-per-view main card, which also features a featherweight bout between Walel Watson (13-8) and Ricardo Palacios (10-1), and a heavyweight bout between Jay Silva (11-12-1) and Oscar Cota (10-1).
A middleweight bout featuring Deron Winn (4-0) and Tom Lawlor (10-6) is also listed on the main card, but sources told MMA Fighting’s Dave Meltzer that Lawlor has not agreed to terms yet and a deal for the bout isn’t complete.
In the light heavyweight co-main event, Kenneth Bergh (6-0) fights Jorge Gonzalez (14-3).
The cost of the pay-per-view on FITE TV is $49.99.
The remainder of the card is composed of swing bouts (fights that will only be included if the schedule accommodates) and amateur bouts.
