Top lightweight prospect Teofimo Lopez will put his undefeated record on the line on the Dec. 8 ESPN show, headlined by Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jose Pedraza at Hulu Theater in New York.

Lopez (10-0, 8 KO) is a 21-year-old fighter out of Brooklyn who competed in the 2016 Olympics for Honduras, losing in the first round to eventual silver medalist Sofiane Oumiha of France. He was seen even then as a better pro prospect than an amateur, really, and has proved that thus far as a professional.

He’ll be facing Mason Menard (34-3, 24 KO) of Louisiana on Dec. 8. The 30-year-old Menard is somewhat familiar to boxing fans, as he scored a couple of wins over Eudy Bernardo and Bahodir Mamadjonov in 2016, leading to an HBO fight that December where Ray Beltran knocked him out. He also lost to Devin Haney in May of this year.

Along with Lomachenko-Pedraza, the show will feature super bantamweight titleholder Isaac Dogboe in action against Emanuel Navarrete.
