Robson Gracie Jr. has a new date for his professional MMA debut inside the Bellator cage.
The younger brother of Renzo Gracie, who had his Bellator 208 bout with Jamal Pottingercancelled at the weigh-ins, will now take on Brysen Bolohao at the Bellator 212 card in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Dec. 14, promotion officials confirmed to MMA Fighting after a report by KHON.
Gracie (0-0) has tried to make his debut in the sport since 2015, but several issues have prevented him from competing. After his Bellator bout got cancelled last month, he told MMA Fighting he was hoping to fight on the Hawaii event.
Bolohao will also be competing as a professional fighter for the first time on Dec. 14. However, unlike the Brazilian, Bolohao has fought 12 times in amateur MMA bouts, racking up a 9-2-1 record with four stoppage wins.
Bellator 212 will feature a rematch between Brent Primus and Michael Chandler for the lightweight title. Other match-ups already announced for the event are Frank Mir vs. Javy Ayala and Alejandra Lara vs. Juliana Velasquez.
