Melissa McMorrow and Esmeralda Moreno are mightily pleased with an announcement gem from the World Boxing Council that the victor of the female flyweight tournament will get the prestigious WBC Diamond belt.
As part of it, Melissa MCMorrow will be fighting against Mexican Esmeralda ” Joya” Moreno, on October 22nd at the iconic Arena Coliseo of Mexico City.
“I am so very happy and excited. I have always wanted to prove I am the best and this is the perfect chance. I am aware Esmeralda is very tough but that’s why I am training very hard. The WBC Diamond belt will be mine,” vowed McMorrow.
The duel Moreno Vs. Esmeralda, will be part of the card presented by Promociones del Pueblo with the support of Cerveza Victoria and Playboy México. It’ll also count on a contest of experience vs youth, featuring Eduardo “El Rocky” Hernández, vs. Victor “Vikingo” Terrazas.
