WBC female flyweight champion, Ibeth Zamora is ready to make the first defense of her crown, which she conquered last May, beating Melissa McMorrow.
Ibeth, who is now known as “the Otomi warrior” knows that a rival should never be underestimated and appreciates that Japan’s Chaoz Minowa will be a tough contender coming to Mexico for her championship.
She observes that Chaoz’s most dangerous weapon is her right hand; however, she fully relies on the work she has done in the gym carefully supervised by her coach Carlos Duarte.
Zamora who managed to defend her light flyweight crown 11 times, wants to repeat the feat now at 112 pounds.
A fight that is expected to be very entertaining at the Miguel Hidalgo Gymnasium in Puebla.
