Veteran kickboxer Joe Schilling has a new opponent for his next MMA fight.
Schilling, who had been scheduled to face Jose Lejia in a middleweight bout at Bellator 210, will instead face Will Morris on the Nov. 30 card in Thackerville, Okla. MMA Fighting confirmed a Monday report by MMA Junkie.
Schilling has found success in kickboxing, as he has rung up a 23-9 record. MMA has been a bit of a tougher go, however, as he is 2-5 with three submission losses. His most recent MMA fight was a first-round loss to Hisaki Kato at Bellator 139 in 2015.
Morris (4-0), a Houston native nicknamed “The Blue Chip,” has finishes in three of his four pro MMA fights. The only decision came in his Bellator debut, a unanimous nod over Charles Williamsat Bellator 202. Morris was also 2-0 as an amateur competitor.
Bellator also announced a bantamweight prelim fight between Dominic Mazzotta and Brandon Phillips is off, due to an undisclosed injury to Mazzotta.
