UFC heavyweight veteran Stefan Struve will be a part of the promotion’s debut trip to the Czech Republic.
The UFC announced on Friday that Struve will take on Marcos Rogerio de Lima in the Czech capital of Prague on February 23rd.
Struve (28-11) has lost his last three fights, most recently dropping a unanimous decision to Marcin Tybura at UFC Hamburg in July. He’s also come up short against Andrei Arlovski and Alexander Volkov, marking the longest losing streak of his career. “The Skyscraper” hasn’t won since a submission of Daniel Omielanczuk at UFC 204.
Lima (16-5-1) returned to heavyweight after consecutive failures to make the light heavyweight limit in his previous two bouts. The Brazilian was able to defeat Adam Wieczorek by unanimous decision at UFC 230, and it looks as if he’ll stay at heavyweight in the long-term.
UFC Prague is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between contenders Thiago Santos and Jan Blachowicz. ESPN+ will stream the entire card.
