It’s fight week again. It’s always fight week. We should consider it a surprise when the UFC doesn’t have a fight week. This week’s card originates from Prague, Czech Republic for the very first time, as Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos square off in an important matchup at the top of the light heavyweight division. In the co-main event, heavyweight veteran Stefan Struve battles Marcos Rogerio de Lima.
Really, outside of the main event, I think the fight most fans are interested in is rising bantamweight contender Petr Yan against John Dodson. There’s also Liz Carmouche vs. Lucie Pudilova in the women’s flyweight division, but not a whole lot else in terms of ranked fighters or interesting matchups.
Here is the lineup for UFC Prague, set for February 23rd on ESPN+:
Main Card (2 PM ET, ESPN+)
Jan Blachowicz vs. Thiago Santos
Marcos Rogerio de Lima vs. Stefan Struve
Gian Villante vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk

Magomed Ankalaev vs. Klidson Farias de Abreu
Preliminary Card (11 AM ET, ESPN+)

Veronica Macedo vs. Gillian Robertson
Damir Hadzovic vs. Marco Polo Reyes

Diego Ferreira vs. Rustam Khabilov
