Olympic gold medalist and Bellator veteran Satoshi Ishii has signed on the dotted line with Polish promotion, KSW.
KSW broke the news via press release Monday, revealing that the Japanese heavyweight has committed to a multi-fight deal with the organization.
Ishii (19-8-1) has claimed notable wins over Tim Sylvia, Jeff Monson, Pedro Rizzo and Heath Herring since turning pro in 2009. Interestingly, he also holds a win over current KSW heavyweight champion, Philip De Fries, from their 2014 clash at IGF 1.
He has competed under the some of the biggest banners in MMA including Bellator, RIZIN, Dream and K-1 and has competed against some of the greatest fighters of all time including Fedor Emelianenko and Mirko Cro Cop.
Ishii is currently on a four-fight win streak. He scored his latest victory last weekend with a dominant first round win over Rodrigo Carlos at Serbian Battle Championship 20.
