Garcia had a career break of more than two years, but has returned to the ring with a convincing win over former champion Elio Rojas in the fifth round, after dropping him, four times.
Garcia would be a tough test for the champion Zlaticanin, who has great quality at proven level against the best fighters.
Dejan has already defeated former champion Ricky Burns, Petr Petrov, Ivan Redkach, and Franklin Mamani, to gain the WBC lightweight crown.
