“A farewell to arms”

This Saturday June 16 will be a day to be remembered in boxing in Spain, with the return of military  tournament.

The initiative comes from the President of Castile and Leon, Pedro Retuerto, with the support of the WBC Amateur Program.

Those who are attending, include: Jesús Julio Carnero, President of the Diputación de Valladolid. Óscar Puente, Mayor of the Town Hall of Valladolid, General of the Army Division D Jerónimo de Gregorio, Coronel Verdugo responsible for the Superior Council of Military Sports, as well as the Colonel of the Civil Guard Juan Miguel Recio, plus Pólice Chief of Valladolid.

The WBC wishes  the best of luck to all the participants and our sincere congratulations to all  public authorities who have served as promoters of the project.
