December 8: Claressa Shields vs. Femke Hermans / California
Having won the WBC middleweight world title, defeating Hannah Rankin, Claressa Shields returns to the ring determined to close the year dramatically in the latest card that will feature HBO. Her rival is Belgian Femke Hermans, who has a record of 9 wins with 3 KO´s and 1 loss.
December 15: Saul Alvarez vs. Rocky Fielding / New York
A Madison Square Garden spectacular in New York matching WBC middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez against tall Rocky Fielding in a super middleweight battle.
December 22: Jermell Charlo vs. Tony Harrison / New York
Historic boxing night in New York as the Charlo brothers will share a big card. Jermell who’s the WBC super welterweight world champion will defend his crown against Tony Harrison, a rival who has only two defeats and 27 wins, 21 of them by KO.
December 22: Jermall Charlo vs. Willie Monroe Jr. / New York
WBC interim middleweight champion, Jermall Charlo defends against Willie Monroe Jr., who’s vowing he’ll get victory.
December 22: Cristofer Rosales vs. Charlie Edwards / United Kingdom
The O2 Arena in London will be the scene of a big fight where Cristofer Rosales will defend his WBC flyweight crown for the second time, on this occasion against Charlie Edwards, a rival who’s hungry and ambitious.
December 22: Dillian Whyte vs. Dereck Chisora / United Kingdom
It’s been two years since these two titans of the ring clashed, with Whyte getting the victory. However, both have stated that everything will be different this time.
December 30: Ken Shiro vs. Saul Juarez / Japan
Closing the year at the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, WBC flyweight world champion, Ken Shiro vs Saul Juarez.
Ken will defend his crown for the fifth time and has claimed he wont loose his undefeated record, and the belt he won in 2017 defeating Ganigan Lopez. For Juarez this is going to be his second title chance for the world crown, since in 2016 he fought against minimumweight Thai champion Wanheng Menayothin.
December 30: Petch Sor Chitpattana vs. Takuma Inoue / Japan
A fight that is expected to be a war with the interim WBC bantamweight belt on the line, Thai Petch Sor Chitpattana vs. Takuma Inoue.
