AARON AND DAVID INSPIRE!

For many years, Aaron Cota, Treasurer of the Boxing Commission of Ensenada, Baja California and distinguished member of the WBC Cares program, has done invaluable work, visiting the classrooms and teaching children about fair play and sports. , through the phrase “Let sports be your gang”

 

Aaron and his team of athletes are a great example of dedication and commitment to the society, because their goal is to bring a clear message to children, combined with the principles of the program BOXVAL- FIGHTING FOR THE PEACE created by the Pope Francisco, that promotes both peace and equality.

 

With motivational talks that aim to inspire students to go further in school and life, Aaron Cota touches the hearts of these children, not only with life stories of faced the challenges and the way forward.

 

Sixteen year old David Espinoza Castillo was the star of this unforgettable visit, showing that there are no obstacles for him progressing. At the time of his birth he was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy, a situation that affected his development, but NOT his dreams.

 

In love with sports and determined to prove that his condition would not hold him back, David excels in swimming, athletics, soccer and kickboxing.

 

David who`s currently in high school takes his time on the field seriously. He managed to stand up for the first time at four years old and at 10 he already played football as a striker on the team “Granjas el Gallo.”

 

David Espinoza Castillo has been the inspiration of many children, overcoming adversity with his impetus and determination, which have led him to achieve and accomplish. On January 20 he fulfilled one of greatest dreams when he was named Ambassador of the professional soccer team Rayados de Monterrey, leading the protocol ceremony prior to the start a soccer game, handing the ball to the Referee and greeting the captains of Rayados and Xolos Tijuana, after exhorting them with the phrase: “play clean, feel your league.”

 

Today, David not only has a scholarship from WBC Cares but he has also been named ambassador of Scholas Ocurrentes because his warrior spirit which is a magnificent example for all.
