Featherweight sensation Aaron Pico will return to the Bellator cage in May.

Pico is slated to meet Lee Morrison at Bellator 199 in San Jose, Calif., on May 12. Bellator officials confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following a report by MMA Junkie.

Morrison (18-8) will make his Bellator debut after winning four in a row with four stoppages in 2017. The “American Bulldog” has competed seven times under the M-1 Global banner in Russia throughout his 11-year MMA career.

Pico (2-1) made his highly anticipated MMA debut last June as a huge favorite against lightweight Zach Freeman, but lost via submission in just 24 seconds. He returned three months later to score a knockout of the year candidate over Justin Linn, and another devastating finish against Shane Kruchten in January.

Bellator 199 takes place at the SAP Center in San Jose and features a heavyweight tournament quarterfinal clash between 205-pound champion Ryan Bader and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawalin the main event.
