On Saturday Night of July 23 the Asian boxing highlight was held at the Pavillion, Far East Square in Singapore, promoted by Willip Ho and Alexander Shah of Cartel Promotions. This was the first time ever for Singapore and WBC Asian Boxing Council (ABCO) in promoting 4 WBC Asia championships on the same event. Also, there were many famous world champions participating in this event such as former WBC flyweight King Pongsaklek Wonjonkam, 2-time WBC champion Sirimongkol Singwancha and former WBA superfeatherweight champion Yodsanan Sor Nanthachai and MMA ONE FC champion Dechdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichok.

The main card was the vacant WBC Asia middleweight championship, which ABCO#10 Azizbek Abdugofurov (3-0, 3 KOs) impressively captured the title when he scored a one-punch KO over ABCO#6 Chalermpol Singwancha (17-1, 13 KOs) at 1:44 of the first round. Although Chalermpol made a good start with his bodyshots but the show unexpectedly finished when Universaide 2013 Silver Medalist Abdugofurov landed a vicious right hook which brutally destroyed former unbeaten Thailander to be unconscious for several minutes.

In other actions, ABCO#9 cruiserweight Muhamad Farkhan of Malaysia dropped ABCO#10 Elly Pangaribuan twice with powerful bodyshots, forcing referee to stop the bout at 2:06 of round two. Farkhan, the new WBC Asia Silver cruiserweight title holder, became the first Malaysian professional boxer to win an international title.

Former WBC youth title challenger Jeson Umbal (11-5,8 KOs) scored a TKO over former WBO Asia Pacific title holder Mark Anthony Geraldo (33-7-3,15 KOs) to capture WBC Asia Continental 122lb title. This fight was a closed affair in the first four rounds and the score announcement following WBC rule were 38-38, 38-38 and 39-37 for Geraldo. The bout finally ended when Geraldo got a serious cut at his eyebrow from a toe-to-toe action which the ring physician did not allow him to continue at 0:47 of round five.

WBF International 147lb title holder Qudratillo Abduqaxorov (8-0,5 KOs) dominated most of the action except round 3 and 6, scoring a 117-111,117-111,118-110 unanimous decision over Filipino Adones Cabalquinto (23-2,15 KOs) to capture WBC Asia Silver Welterweight title.

Canadian Ryan Ford (7-0) kept his unbeaten record when he destroyed Malaysian Muhammad Meeraj (reportedly 4-0) at 1:35 of the opening round.
And Singaporean Edgar Ang made a good start on his first professional debut when he won a 39-37,39-37,40-33 unanimous decision over Rahmat Munadjab.
