Alejandro Perez vs. Song Yadong added to UFC 235 in March

An exciting bantamweight fight between Alejandro Perez and rising prospect Song Yadong has been added to UFC 235 in March.

The UFC announced the fight as official through social media on Thursday. It is now the thirteenth fight added to UFC 235, however a bout order has not yet been finalized for the card.

Perez (21-6-1) is undefeated in the UFC since losing to Patrick Williams by submission in June 2015. Since fighting to a draw with Albert Morales two years ago, Perez has won four consecutive fights, winning a unanimous decision against Eddie Wineland and picking a second-round TKO against Matthew Lopez in 2018.

After a front-choke submission win in his UFC debut in November 2017, Yadong (13-3, 2NC) won both his fights in 2018, a second round TKO against Felipe Arantes and most recently a unanimous decision against Vince Morales.

UFC 235 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 2nd. A light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Anthony Smith is expected to headline the card, pending Jones getting licensed by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
