Alex Caceres will be returning to Asia for his next UFC bout.
The featherweight fighter has been booked to fight Guan Wang at UFC Shanghai (UFC Fight Night 122), which is set to go down on Nov. 25 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China. The news was initially reported by mmadna.nl and was later confirmed by MMA Fighting.
Caceres last fought at UFC Fight Night 111 in June where he snapped a two fight skid, defeating Rolando Dy via second-round technical knockout. The 29-year-old fighter is 13-10 as a professional and 8-8 in his UFC run that dates back to 2011.
Meanwhile, Wang was scheduled to make his UFC debut against Caceres back in UFC Fight Night 111, but was forced to but was forced to withdraw due to injury. Wang was replaced by Dy. The Chinese fighter is 19-1-1 in his MMA career and currently rides a seven-fight win streak.
UFC Shanghai will be headlined by a middleweight between former UFC champ Anderson Silvaand Kelvin Gastelum. The event is set to stream on UFC Fight Pass.
