Congratulations to Australian fighter Alma Juniku on becoming the new WBC MuayThai bantamweight champion of the world.
The 18-year old from Brisbane clashed with the hotly tipped ZaZa Sor Aree from Thailand, in Hong Kong.
Alma started strong catching her opponent on numerous occasions and dumping her to the canvas with supreme authority, she continued outworking and outgunning her opponent throughout the entire bout, obliging ZaZa to take an eight count in the 4th round. As the 5th round was progressing…a deluge of aggression from the young Aussie fighter forced the Referee to step in and call a halt to the contest earning herself a TKO victory.
