Amanda Nunes vs. Raquel Pennington is on, after all.

The UFC bantamweight title fight had long been expected for UFC 224 on Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on May 12.

The bout was called into question after last weekend’s UFC 222, when company president Dana White declared he was looking at the option of having Nunes next fight featherweight champCris Cyborg, who scored a one-sided win over Yana Kunitskaya in the evening’s main event.

But now the women’s superfight is on hold, and instead, Nunes vs. Pennington is official. The company tweeted Thursday the bout would be the main event of the May 12 card in Rio.

While there’s been quite a bit of turnover in the women’s bantamweight division with the loss of stars like Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate, Pennington has emerged from the vacuum as a legit title threat. The Colorado Springs-based fighter has won four fights in a row, most recently aUFC 212 victory over Tate which served as the latter’s retirement fight. Pennington brings a 9-5 record into the bout.

Nunes (15-4), meanwhile, returns to her home country. The American Top Team competitor has won six fights in a row, including a split decision win over Valentina Shevchenko in her second title defense at UFC 213. The first bout of that win streak, over Shayna Baszler in 2015, also marks the last time she fought in Brazil.
