Former champion Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs) who`s been out of the ring since May 2016, when he was defeated by former WBC middleweight champion Saul Alvarez at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, is on the comeback trail, via the jungle path.
Following that defeat, Khan underwent surgery to correct some injuries and that kept him out for the rest of 2016. He was scheduled to face Manny Pacquiao in April, but the Filipino team withdrew from negotiations. Since then, the Bolton thunderbolt has kept busy with business outside of boxing. Amir, who recently participated in a reality show in Dubai, said:
“I want to fight in the United Kingdom and I`m planning to return in March. I trained in the jungle in a reality show. I’m glad I went there. It was detox and I feel very good. So 2018 will be a great year for me. ”
