DAVAO CITY – International Boxing Federation (IBF) world super lightweight champion Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas of Panabo City is now ready to fight anytime.

The 28-year old Ancajas (32W-1L-2D, 22 KOs) recently sparred with fellow Filipino Jonas “Zorro” Sultan (16W-5L-0, 10 KOs) of Zamboanga last Oct. 23 in the US.

It was handled by chief trainer and manager Joven Jimenez.

“Focus na focus, anytime puwede na lumaban. Handang handa palagi siya,” (Focus on focus, anytime he can fight. He is always ready) said Jimenez in Facebook.

Ancajas showed his usual fast and clever punches against Sultan. But Sultan also retaliated with his own punches to Ancajas, who has hit his several times. He, however, was faster than Sultan. Ancajas was able to elude several punches thrown by the 28-year old Sultan.

Jimenez is still waiting for Ancajas’ opponent.

Ancajas will be defending his title for the 9th time.

In his 8th successful defense, Ancajas stopped Miguel Gonzales of Chile in the 6th round last Dec. 7, 2019, in Mexico.
