Luke Sanders has a new opponent for UFC Fresno. With Bryan Caraway sidelined due to an injury, Sanders will now take on Andre Soukhamthath on Dec. 9, the promotion announced.
Soukhamthath (11-5) is looking for his first UFC win after losing back-to-back split decisions against Alejandro Perez and Albert Morales earlier this year. He signed with the company after scoring three knockouts in a row in the regional circuit, winning and defending the CES bantamweight title.
Sanders (11-1) will attempt to get back on track after suffering his first MMA loss in March, a second-round submission defeat to Iuri Alcantara. Sanders, who submitted Maximo Blanco in his Octagon back debut in 2016, held the RFA bantamweight title before joining the UFC.
UFC Fight Night 123 is set to take place at the SaveMart Center in Fresno, and features Cub Swanson vs. Brian Ortega in the main event.
