In an exciting heavyweight battle, Andy Ruiz Dropped and Decisioned: tough Cuban veteran Luis “King Kong” Ortiz for a Unanimous Decision Win today in Los Angeles, Calif.

With the victory, “The Destroyer” Andy Ruiz, 33, wins a WBC Eliminator, wanting to go on to rumble any of the best heavyweights in the world.

His ultimate goal is to fight for the world title again, be a champion champion again.

With speed and power, the heavily tattooed Ruiz (35-2, 22 KO’s) knocked down King Kong (33-3, 28 KO’s) twice in round two and then again in chapter 7, dominating him in most of the hot rounds.

Sores were 114-111 (twice), and 113-112 for the popular Mexican-American, the first and only man of Mexican heritage who has reignde as heavyweight world champion.

In attendance watching the clash was “The Bronze” Bomber Deontay Wilder who congratulated both warriors, saying FOX’s post-fight interviews that would fight Andy, why not.

A super heavy-puncher, Deontay Wilde (42-2-1, 41 KO’s) is scheduled for a ring return against Robert Helenius on October 15 in Brooklyn.

It was a fantastic performance for Andy Ruiz, winning the hot 12-rounder. It was also a show of strength and chin from King Kong, who at 43-years-of-age says that he is ready for more wars
