Former world champion Miguel “Títere” Vázquez once again won an international belt by defeating Sinaloa boxer José Daniel “Cañerito” Ruiz in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, becoming the Super welter World Boxing Council Latino Silver champion.
Vazquez dug for victory, dispatching “Cañerito” with a powerful left hook to the liver at 2 minutes and 9 seconds of the fourth round. After a fairly even exchange of blows in the opening round, Vázquez who began to impose and inflict his power via clout, as a body of work.
With this victory, the boxer from Jalisco, significantly improves his record to 39 victories, 15 of them by KO and five defeats. Vázquez is all the sharper and keener, to continue climbing up the WBC ranking rungs, to be able to dispute the world crown.
